Photos for the word weary.

Last day in LA.

Beach front real estate outside Malibu.  Woke up to dolphins here.

The PBR version of a Corona commercial.

Trailhead for our 9 mile hike.  This was just across the street from the beach.  Visibility obviously would become a problem...

So got down to about 30 feet of visibility.  It got pretty eerie.  It was awesome.

Sand dune on the mountain again.  We seem to find these.

Pismo beach pier.

Pismo sunset.

Snow pea cactus.  Or something.  I made it up.

These are red hot pokers.  Really.  I didn't make that one up.

Random beach we stopped at.  I'm standing on a piece of drift wood, the tree must have been incredibly massive.

The country side shifts constantly out here.  This is near Hearst Castle.  We didn't do a tour because of the timing.  Seriously not fair.

The tiny dot in the middle is a 110 room castle.

More random coast.

Big Sur.  Backpacked in about a half mile for this spot.  Not killer hiking but definitely a pretty place.  Great stars.

At the beach a river flowed out into the ocean.  Pretty magical place but very windy.

A Catholic mission at Carmel.

Fisherman's wharf in Monterrey.  Neat but nothing like the one in San Francisco.

We ate breakfast with this view.  Tragedy.

The Winchester House in San Jose.  You can't take pictures inside but it is definitely weird.  What was once an 8 bedroom farm house is now many thousands of square feet of weird.  The tour just in the house covered a mile and a half.  Just of the tour, not including the other 100 rooms.
